Group Fitness on the Northern Beaches – Small-Group Coaching in Warriewood

Group Training Warriewood

Small-group coaching, not a crowded class

In most group classes you're a face in the crowd, following along and hoping your technique is right. Here, you're known. The groups are genuinely small, and a second coach steps in as a group grows, so the coaching stays hands-on.

The biggest difference is what happens when your body needs something different. Every session is tailored to the individual – including people carrying injuries or a bit of dysfunction. Exercises are scaled and swapped for you, so a group session works around your body rather than against it. That's something a drop-in class simply can't do.

"The team trainings are great as the programs are designed for any skill level and can be adjusted for injuries." – Richard C., Google review

Community and accountability

There's a reason people keep coming back – and it's usually the people. When a coach knows your name and a crew notices when you're missing, showing up gets a lot easier.

That accountability is quietly powerful. You train harder for a group than you ever would alone, and the progress you share keeps you moving to the next stage.

It still starts with the Discovery System

Even in a group, coaching starts by understanding you. Your free Discovery Session is a real conversation about your goals, lifestyle and any injuries – so the group programming genuinely fits where you are.

That first step is what makes the injury-aware coaching possible: we know what to scale or work around before you start. You can see how the Discovery System works across all our coaching.

Who it's for

Group and semi-private training suits people – often in their 50s – who train better with others and want real coaching and motivation, not a self-serve gym floor. Any level is welcome, and injuries are no barrier; that's exactly what we coach around.

If you'd rather have a coach entirely to yourself, our one-on-one personal training is there too.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between group, semi-private and personal training? All three are coach-led and built on the same assessment. Group and semi-private training add community and a lower commitment threshold; personal training is fully one-on-one. Many people move between them over time.

Do I need to be fit to join a group? No. Sessions are programmed around your level once we've done your Discovery Session, so you start where you are.

Can I join if I have an injury or a niggle? Yes – and it's one of the things we do best. Your Discovery Session flags anything we need to work around, and your coach scales or swaps exercises to suit you within the group. Plenty of our members started while recovering from an injury.

When do sessions run? You'll find the current class times on our timetable.

How much does group fitness cost? As a guide, small-group coaching starts from around $55 a week (one-on-one is higher, depending on how often you train). What's right for you comes down to your goals and format – which we work out together in your free Discovery Session.
